Laporan dugaan Pungli itu langsung dibantah oleh Kemenag Mamuju, Seksi Penyelenggaraan Haji dan Umrah (PHU), Rizaldi mengatakan, pembayaran sebesar Rp750 yang dimaksud adalah pembayaran infaq.
Menurut Rizaldi, pembayaran infak itu dibebankan pada setiap jamaah haji melalui jalur sukarela. Kata Dana itu langsung masuk di rekening Baznas Kabupaten Mamuju.
“Itu tidak masuk ke kami, tetapi masuknya di rekening Baznas langsung. Besaran yang infak juga telah diatur melalui perda,” bebernya, Senin, (3/6/2024).
